The delayer is helpful when you are having a high ROF setup or that you are using heavier BBs (such as 0.25g BBs). This is a better solution than cutting the air nozzle short*! And don’t forget to use high quality mags to avoid misfeed. Stock TM mags are perfect. Those cheaper china made mags are no good and are often the major source of dry fire…
Do remember, the delayer must be tightly installed and fixed into position. If it goes loose it can crack the sector gear and the tappet plate.
