To test for air tightness at the cylinder set, block the cylinder head nozzle with a finger and then try to push the piston. If you experience strong resistance, air tightness is good. If not, two possibilities exist:
I, Air leaks through the gap between the cylinder head and the cylinder. To prevent leakage of this sort, you use a thin layer of pipe wrap to wrap around the side of the cylinder head before putting in the cylinder head O ring:
II, Air leaks through the piston O ring (this is the most common cause of performance problem among the China-made AEGs). A properly sized replacement can usually fix the problem.
