They are 2 different things. When buying a new piston head O ring, by all means take your current cylinder \/ piston set with you to the hardware store and try things out on the spot. You want an O ring large enough for a slightly tighter fit with the cylinder (so you can improve compression), but at the same time you don\u2019t want an O ring that is too large.
